LANCASTER, Ohio — Ten EMS providers have filed a class action lawsuit against Pickaway Plains Ambulance Service, owner of ProCare Medical Transportation, over missing paychecks, WCMH reported Wednesday.
"Everybody's entitled to be fairly compensated for the work they perform," said attorney Robert DeRose of Barkan, Meizlish, DeRose & Cox, which filed the lawsuit.
The plaintiffs are seeking backpay, monetary penalties under federal and state law, damages and attorney costs.
In prior reporting, EMT Davian Rogers said she worked for ProCare until she experienced three paycheck delays in June and July.
