County Sheriff

— Damage was reported at 12:50 a.m. Monday to a vehicle parked in the Marlboro Towing lot, state Route 344, Fairfield Township.

— A female caller at 4:28 a.m. Sunday on McKee Road, Yellow Creek Township, reported being harassed over a phone call.

— At 1:37 a.m. Sunday, a homeowner on County Home Road, Center Township, reported hearing something outside the residence. A deputy responded, but found nothing.

— A resident on Glasgow Road, Madison Township, reported at 11:04 p.m. Saturday that his 16-year-old son left around 7 p.m. and had not returned home. He wanted a report on file.

— An open 911 line was reported at 8:37 p.m. Saturday at Timashamie Campground on Georgetown Road in Butler Township, but the source wasn't located.

— Personnel from Salem Regional Medical Center called at 8:21 p.m. Saturday to request a welfare check on a patient from Columbia Street, Leetonia who left the hospital with an IV still in. The person showed the deputy the IV was out.

— A disturbance was reported at South Alley, Salineville at 7:29 p.m. Saturday. Multiple neighbors said the people causing the disturbance left.

— West Point EMS requested a deputy at 5:23 p.m. Saturday for a medical call at Glasgow Carryout, state Route 45, Madison Township. West Point EMS transported the person to East Liverpool City Hospital.

— People were reported climbing on the dam at Guilford Lake in Hanover Township at 4:47 p.m. Saturday, but were not found.

— An alarm was reported at Envelope One, state Route 344, Columbiana, at 1:41 a.m. Saturday, but everything appeared secure.

— Deputies responded at 11:47 p.m. Friday to a female on Allegheny Trail, Middleton Township, experiencing a mental health crisis. She was determined not to be a risk for self harm.

— A noise complaint was reported at 11:37 p.m. Friday on Sprucevale Road, Middleton Township, with the homeowner agreeing to turn down the music.

— A woman on Pritchard Avenue, Center Township, reported at 9:42 p.m. Friday that her dog got loose and the neighbors threatened to snap the dog's neck. She wanted a report on file.

— A man on state Route 172, West Township, reported at 6:39 p.m. Friday that he had to turn off the water to his tenant's residence due to a water line break and a plumber couldn't come until the next day. He wanted a report on file.

— A resident on state Route 170, Unity Township, reported a woman was causing a disturbance, then got into her vehicle and backed over the fence. The woman's father-in-law said he just needed a report on file since she left.

— A resident of Sunset Drive, Yellow Creek Township, reported at 6:25 p.m. May 25 that two people were harassing her. She just wanted a report.

— A woman at Westville Lake Campground on Case Road, Knox Township, reported at 4:38 p.m. May 25 that five steel lawn chairs were stolen from her campsite.

— A woman on state Route 644, Franklin Township, reported at 7:47 p.m. May 24 that her father backed his tractor into her vehicle, causing damage to the front bumper and front right quarter panel. She wanted a report on file.

— A woman on Shelby Road, Center Township, reported at 12:52 p.m. May 24 reported her neighbor was putting his belongings on her property.

— A Whinnery Road, Butler Township resident reported at 1:28 p.m. May 23 that his vehicles and residence were damaged by a BB gun.

— Deputies were dispatched at 5:20 p.m. May 23 to Rose Drive, Center Township, for a person yelling for help. EMT EMS transported the person to Salem Regional Medical Center.

— A New Waterford woman reported at 2:30 p.m. May 20 that she was assaulted by her father at his Southern Street residence in Middleton Township.

Lisbon

— Community Action requested a welfare check at 1:49 p.m. May 25 on a male who lives at Applegrove apartments because he had not returned their phone calls. He was found sitting in his vehicle and said he was fine. He was told to call his doctor and said he would just drive up there.

— A male was reported breaking glass in a driveway on North Market Street at 12:57 p.m. May 24. He was asked to clean it up and the officer remained until he was finished.

— A dog was reported running loose on Graham Street at 12:09 p.m. May 24. The owner was contacted and told she needs to keep the dog tied up while outside. She said she does, but the puppy gets away from the kids once in a while.

— Police were called at 1:35 p.m. May 23 for a female trying to break into a house on Maple Street. She advised she and a male got into an argument and he was making her leave. She said she was trying to get a pair of pants and then she’ll leave. She said she's been living there and has a lot of belongings she wants to get back. She was told she could get them at a later time. She also said the gas and electric are in her name. An officer told her she could have them turned off if she wants. The man said she could come back and get the rest of her belongings, including the washer and dryer.

— A medical call was reported at 6:15 a.m. May 22 at Lisbon David Anderson High School where an elderly female had fallen. She denied wanting medical attention and said her daughter was coming to help her.

— A medical was reported at 6:20 p.m. May 20 at the BP gas station, state Route 154, for a woman having trouble breathing. NorthStar arrived and she was evaluated.

Salem

— Officers responded to the 1000 block of East State Street at 10:34 p.m. Monday to assist the Ohio State Highway Patrol with a traffic stop. Officers stood by while troopers conducted field sobriety tests and conducted probable cause searches of the vehicle. Contraband was located inside the vehicle.

— Officers on patrol in the 600 block of East State Street at 9:44 p.m. Monday observed a vehicle parked in the Premier Bank parking lot with its trunk open and nobody around. While officers were checking the vehicle the occupants returned from Coaches restaurant and advised that while eating the dinner, they accidentally hit the trunk release button on their fob. The trunk was secured.

— Officers responded to the area of South Ellsworth Avenue and East State Street at 7:46 p.m. Monday for a report of a reckless operator. The vehicle was located at a business and stopped. The driver had been consuming alcohol and was run through a portion of the field sobriety tests. The driver did not appear to be impaired enough to warrant an arrest for OVI, however the driver did call a friend to pick him up as a precaution. Officers remained on scene until the friend arrived.

— Officers responded to the 400 block of East Euclid Avenue at 6:38 p.m. Monday for a report of a runaway juvenile. Officers located the juvenile in the 600 block of South Broadway Avenue and transported the juvenile back home.

–Officers responded to the 600 block of Arch Street at 6:11 p.m. Monday for a report of an unruly juvenile. The mother advised that she was there to pick up her daughter who was refusing to leave the residence. Due to custody the juvenile was sent with the mother for the evening.

— Officers responded to the 2400 block of East State Street at 5:01 p.m. Monday for a report of solicitors. The caller advised she wanted the people removed from the property. Officers checked the area but were unable to locate the people.

— Officers responded to the 800 block of East Fourth Street at 4:04 p.m. Monday for a report of a woman screaming. Officers were unable to locate the source of the complaint.

— Officers responded to the 1100 block of Cleveland Street at 3:07 p.m. Monday for a reported domestic in progress. Officers found no domestic had occurred.

— Officers responded to the 700 block of North Ellsworth Avenue at 3:09 p.m. Monday for a reported domestic. The caller advised her daughter was having behavioral issues, and the juvenile was arguing with her mother's live-in boyfriend and refused to stop. Officers spoke with all involved and the mother was ultimately advised of her option for pursuing unruly charges.

— Officers responded to the 100 block of Rose Avenue at 3:14 p.m. Monday for a wellness check. The caller advised she had not seen her neighbor since February. Officers were unable to make contact.

— Officers responded to the 1100 block of Cleveland Street at 1:50 p.m. Monday for a report of an irate person. The caller advised her boyfriend was not acting like himself. Officers spoke with the boyfriend who advised he had taken some extra medications. The boyfriend was checked by EMT and gathered some of his belongings before leaving the residence.

— Officers responded to the 800 block of East Fourth Street at 1:19 p.m. Monday for a report of an animal complaint. The caller advised that a dog is constantly barking. Officers checked the area, but the dog was not consistent with barking.
